Client's reaction to his own video

A few notes to go with this film:

1. This is the most materially valuable piece I’ve ever had the chance to work with.

2. The story is based on our client Julien’s real experience. He owned an impressive collection of high-end watches, then sold everything to buy back the one piece he truly loved.

3. I told him I might create a color that would feel like home. He smiled and said “yeah, yeah,” not fully convinced.

4. I eventually talked him into recording the voice-over himself—he was shy about his accent at first and even considered using AI.

5. He also said, “When you finish, don’t send it right away. Let me take you to lunch and we’ll watch it together.” And that’s how this video came to be.

That’s all. I just tried to make something beautiful—and was lucky to have a small budget for gas and a celebratory beer with my brother.
